Open the Help menu. Then at the About dialog, click several times on the
blue ship (or Aritek logo in older version) in the upper-left corner
of this dialog to bring up a hidden message:

Gravity Well was written for my son Dustin because he wanted me to write
a game that he could play. Boys don't appreciate the subtle challenges of
strategic war gaming until they have aged a bit, it seems.

At least three revisions have been found - 2.1, 2.2, and 3.5.
The last one is available in both 16-bit and 32-bit formats,
while older revisions are 16-bit only.
